Located within the oceanfront ʻAlohilani Resort Waikiki Beach, Osteria Mamma will be situated alongside the resort’s signature 280,000-gallon Oceanarium, creating a distinctive setting for the restaurant’s approachable Italian dining experience. The new addition joins ‘Alohilani’s collection of some of Waikiki’s most beloved restaurants, including Morimoto Asia Waikiki from Iron Chef Morimoto and SWELL Restaurant & Pool Bar, located on the resort’s 17,000-square-foot seascape rooftop.

Guests can expect personal touches including family photographs and stories, a thoughtful selection of Italian wines, cocktails, and a convivial dining room designed to feel welcoming and lived-in.

For Filippo and Cristina, expanding Osteria Mamma to Hawaii is ultimately about preserving what matters most: food that tastes like home and a family legacy that continues to grow. “Mom would first ask if the pasta is still made by hand and if the guests are being fed properly,” said Filippo Cortivo. “Then she would smile, shake her head and say, ‘You two never sit still.’”
