We have combined the most widely used services and amenities into the Daily Resort Amenity Fee for guests to enjoy throughout their stay. In honor of Queen Lili’uokalani and her legacy of preserving Hawaii’s natural beauty, ‘Alohilani Resort is proud to partner with Hawaiian Legacy Reforestation Initiative (HLRI) to plant 100,000 indigenous trees. Through this partnership, ‘Alohilani Resort is helping to return treasured native trees to the Big Island of Hawaii and 500 acres on Oahu’s north shore. The resort’s carbon neutral certification will be verified by DEKRA, an international testing, inspection, and certification body, in accordance with PAS 2060, which is the only recognized international standard for carbon neutrality. In 2022, the resort will be carbon neutral for Scope 1, Scope 2, and a portion of Scope 3 emissions. According to the GHG Protocol, Scope 1 includes all direct carbon emissions from sources such as propane, gasoline, diesel, and refrigerants. Scope 2 covers electricity consumption. The resort is currently working toward having complete data needed to achieve carbon neutrality for all relevant Scope 3 categories, including emissions from its supply chain.
Effective for new bookings starting March 1, 2022
The Carbon Neutrality Fee of $1.38 per occupied room night will be collected and allocated to the following scopes:
Scope 1 – includes all direct and indirect CO2 emissions from sources such as fuel combustion, propane, gasoline, diesel and refrigerant
Scope 2 – includes purchased energy, electricity consumption, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from the operation of resort
Scope 3 – Covers emissions from supply and logistics chain and production waste
A valid credit card is required to guarantee and secure your online reservations. The credit card provided will be charged if you have requested a pre-paid room, or if the cancellation policy for your reservation applies. This card must be presented upon check in, along with a valid photo identification of the cardholder and registered hotel guest. Additional documentation may be required of guests for payment details and explanation of policies to ensure a safe and secure visit. The name on the credit card provided must match the name of the registered hotel guest. On the day of arrival, the hotel will pre-authorize your credit card to ensure sufficient funds are available to cover the charges for your entire stay. In addition, a refundable incidental authorization may also be required upon check-in. For reservations confirmed with 7 nights or longer, it is our company policy to settle all charges every 7th day during your stay. Should the credit card decline or be invalid, another form of payment will be required or the reservation may be subject to cancellation without notice.
Valid forms of payment include: credit card, debit card, cash and travelers cheques. Please be advised that personal checks are not an acceptable form of payment. Please note, if a debit card is used to either guarantee your reservation or used as the final method of payment, the authorized funds per the above, will be held until after you checkout. Authorized amounts may take up to 30 days after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution and the hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges.
Note: If accommodations will be guaranteed by someone other than the registered guest, please contact our Reservations Office at (808) 922-1233 to complete a credit card authorization form. Completed Forms must be received at least 72 hours prior to the registered guest’s arrival date. If sufficient payment is not received by this time, the reservation may be subject to cancellation without notice and cancellation penalties will apply.
Unless otherwise specified on the rate selected, hotel must be notified of modifications or cancellations at least 3 days prior to your scheduled arrival date to avoid a charge of one night’s room rate plus general excise tax. A fee will subsequently be processed on your credit card provided at time of booking. Non-refundable rate programs require full pre-payment at time of booking in USD and forfeit any deposits and payments made for cancellations and modifications; a full stay charge will be applied. Any modifications to dates of stay will be subject to the best available rate.
The Year-end Cancellation Policy applies to reservations staying from December 25th through January 2nd. A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. In the event this reservation is cancelled, or modified within 45-days of your arrival date, the credit card provided will be subject to a cancellation charge of the FULL STAY of the original reservation. The cancellation charge is non-refundable, and non-transferable.

Special rates do not apply to group bookings of 10 or more rooms and are based on arrival date and length of stay. Should you decide to depart before the minimum length-of-stay requirement is fulfilled, rates will revert to the current prevailing rate.
Unless otherwise specified, special programs including a Resort Credit is applicable for qualifying reservations with a valid credit card on file for room charges. The Resort Credit may be applicable at the following outlets for guest’s convenience.
The Resort Credit does not apply to room rates, taxes, gratuity, resort amenity fee, or any other resort amenities not listed. The Resort Credit is non-transferable, cannot be combined with any other special, groups, third party reservations and is not redeemable for cash. Any unused balances are forfeited on departure date. Children 17 years and under staying with an accompanying adult utilizing existing bed(s) are at no additional charge. Cribs are complimentary upon request and availability.
Additional Guest / Rollaway Bed Charges
$100 USD plus taxes per additional guest (18 years of age and older), or for a rollaway bed per night (maximum 1 per room where applicable). Maximum guests permitted for each guest room is four in rooms with 2 beds and maximum of three guests in rooms with a king bed. Rollaway bed may not be permitted for certain room configurations.
